So is there something like Dungeon Synth but with a science fiction theme/feel/atmosphere instead of fantasy/medieval etc?

This seems to pretty much what I'm looking for. Thanks a lot, Anon. Is there a chart, or should I just go by wikipedia and last.fm?
new microgenre incoming
I guess I have a request which considering this is alive I'll just ask: is there any "dark" dungeon synth? Like whenever I heard about it I thought it would be like a literal dungeon, similar to dark ambient but with more synths.
So is there anything like that out there?

I have heard about "cave ambient" but I'm not sure it's a real thing.

youre probably already more in the know than me, but early mortiis demos are very dark. i've been wanting to load up some hot midi patches and make my own dungeon synth but i dont live near any beautiful forests/dont have any corpse paint on hand so i feel like i would be posturing a bit. i love the sound though.
