This is the most inaccessible radiohead album if you think about it
yeah but then it isn't when you think about it like someone who isn't an idiot

define "inaccessible"

This T B H
>LP9 when

It's their second best after The Bends. OK Computer is ok, but after that they became a mediocre 2deep4u progressive bleep band while recycling their melodies from their first two albums.
>>64616178
Not easy to get into/appreciate
>>64616117
Well I mean yeah in the /mu/ paradigm which in this case really draws from the strain of thought that originally determined Pablo Honey to be a plebeian effort from a juvenile outfit.
It's legitimately better than TKOL. You and Blow Out are great tunes, and Creep/ Anyone Can Play Guitar are at least fun for what they are.
TKOL is total garbage, it's the sound of the band disappearing up their own arseholes... or rather up Thom's arsehole, since it sounds like one of his shitty solo albums.

if you think fucking radiohead is 2deep4u and progressive then you need to get out less
>>64616339
I mean too deep for normies. They sound like their trying to hard to be unique. R.E.M. ditched the guitar in a more graceful fashion (only two switch back like Radiohead)
>>64616381
*they're trying too hard
>>64616315
I actually really liked tkol too. I like all their albums to some extent, my least favorite is probably in rainbows but that's still pretty enjoyable.
>>64616381
you sound like the one trying too hard desu
How? Pablo Honey has the band's most popular song on it.
blow out is a 10/10
>>64616117
Ripcord is a legit jam
>>64617517
Blow out is best track imo, pretty crazy
>>64617470
Starsailor by Tim Buckley also had his most popular song on it
>>64616117
It's generic 90's alternative rock garbage, what are you talking about?
It sounds like a Dinosaur Jr. rip-off
>>64617517
I AM GLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUED
>>64617580
You're further proving my point
>>64617698
Dinosaur isn't a particularly inaccessible band anon.
People don't dislike Pablo because it's hard to listen to it, but because it's generic.
It's true that Radiohead isn't the most complex or challenging band out there, but it I had to point their most difficult album it'd be Kid A, Amnesiac or King of Limbs (which I also dislike, and see as a poor attempt at emulating other artists).
PH is a product of its time, and those are rarely challenging when put into context.

its a madlib invazion
nah but seriously
