That's fine as long as you've given them a real shot. Don't short change yourself on a band because you have a negative preconception of them or you only know their hits. Only you know what you've actually listened to. You don't have to admit it here, but give every artist an honest chance.
The Eagles were a literally a group of studio musicians who got together and made a band. They didn't have to try to get popular, as they already had ins to the biz by playing with real artists.
