I'm not sure what you mean, exactly OP. Do you mean songs from that "era" or songs that directly relate to the war?

The popular music of the era. There are tons of great Youtube playlists with great songs, but I was thinking of an actual compilation album. Some songs do relate to the war directly, but others are just iconic of the era. Of course there should be a bunch of CCR. Maybe I'd just buy a CCR best-of even.

Well, if you're interested in music that is (even vaguely) related to the war, you'd be best off with rock and folk music. I can't really give you a specific compilation, but I could probably give you a few artists to point you in the right direction. There very well might be a RYM list that includes "protest" songs from the era as well.
If you're asking for songs from the 60s... well, that could be anything really. Most lists you'll find will be primary dominated by rock music with the occasional jazz, soul and folk.
If you're asking for something more specific, again, you'll have to ask.

The Vietnam War lasted from 1955 to 1975 so if you're not going to narrow down your search parameters (which currently include all genres) then we have no choice but to systematically list every album made during those 2 decades.
