Works with SD cards. I like it more than syncing since it opens by folder structure. So long as your music folder is organized then you're good to go

download a high resolution image of the album cover usually 900x900 or higher and save it in the folder of the album, you can label it cover or whatever you like.

I decided that I want one rather than my phone, since I stream the same stuff over and over and waste data, battery, etc. and i just like having these sort of devices. are there any mp3 players that support over 8gb of songs, and that ALSO support a feature for different playlists? for example, i could be able to choose a different playlist out of a few.

Any mp3 player that uses an sd card can do that. The largest micro sd card is 128 (I think there is a 256 but it sucks), and since you load on stuff as you would a flash drive, you can drag over your own playlists you make
