K-pop is designed to be discussed as much as possible. Having celebrity personas en masse, like 8 per group, all usually very active on social media, sometimes with their own tv shows, constant appearances on tv as well for performances - not just a spot on a talk show, full concerts. The release cycles for albums are mostly what would be called an EP, so they push out music much faster than most america pop stars.

There's just more to discuss.

I mean, they mostly release songs as "mini-albums", a few at a time. More than a single, less than an album. So the releases come out faster than if it's 10 to 15 songs per album
