/mu/ you are a bastard. you told me these are good but they are actually muddy as hell.
most of the people replying to your question were probably from /v/ and have never tried other headphones

Maybe they'd sound better if you didn't listen to music on your g*dd*anm phone
You're probably used to tinny ear buds. Usually takes a bit of time to get used to new phones

I listen on my iPod classic maybe the electrical infetterence is getting to it
>>64583062
Looks like you fell for the Sennheiser meme pal.
They'll probably break soon anyway so at least you'll have an excuse to replace them.

>tfw the cable on my Grados is 1/4" and will never fail
>veilheiser
lel. not even once
>>64583115
yep $20 apple earphones sound better than these. maybe it's the open sound I'm comparing to muddy? rather way it's sound like my album rips are worse than they are
>>64583213
Yeah that cable is pretty sturdy stuff. Unfortunately it's attached to a pair of Grados.
>>64583213
doesn't make up for them being grados though
>>64583295
what's wrong with em? I've never heard a single bad word about them (other than leaking every fucking detail of what you're listening to)
>>64583435
listen here buddy we are talking about my shit sennheisers not your shit grados
>>64583435
They have a very unnatural sound signature, crap bass, brittle highs, small soundstage and they all use the same drivers, whether your buying the cheap ones or the $1000+ models.
>>64583476
oh yeah, sorry. the muddy sennheiser veil is from a boost in the upper bass region and a small drop in the lower midrange. now that you're aware you may be able to fix it
>>64583600
how do I fix this, anime man?
I just tested and it sounds much clearer when I plug the senns directly into my iPod as opposed to my senns into my receiver which has the ipod connected into it by some shitty av cable
>>64583839
Yeah that's probably not the best way to be doing things desu. Either plug the headphones straight into the iPod as you've just tried or use a compatible DAC to use between the iPod and your receiver.
>>64583062
Damn I should probably shout psyche! A bit louder next time
>>64583957
it's analog already why would I need a DAC?
