While KUKL and Tappi were smaller things, the Sugarcubes, at the time, were the biggest thing in music ever to come out of Iceland. They're also a big part towards Bjork's initial success, because the Girl Singer from The Sugarcubes is making a solo album!
All three of these back catalog bands is noted on her website, wikipedia page, etc. so it's not even hard to hear about it. Just because we're on a website where everyone wants to fuck Bjork doesn't mean we're the only people :/
