I think this is basically on the same level as Remain in Light. The highlights aren't quite as good, but it's a more consistent album. If we're talking enders, Drugs is MILES ahead of The Overload.
What does /mu/ think?
FoM is better than RiL
FoM has an edge to it, some moments on it are genuinely insane and the lyrics are morbidly strange, as much as i love Eno his production on RiL kindoff killed what made Heads interesting. Still a great album though

but anon Eno worked on FoM too
SiT is better than FoM. This Must Be the Place is better than The Overload and Drugs.

Animals is a wild track. Drugs sounds better in live version

Yeah, he also produced More Songs About Buldings and Food but that sounds nothing like RiL. His influence over the sound grew with each album he produced.

see >>64556516
Eno's approach became too clinical and architectural on RiL
It's actually better than Remain In Light
>>64555339
It's much better than Remain in Light
>>64555339
I dunno man, it doesn't have that much depth desu senpai
>>64557573
Define "depth"
>>64557770
I dunno, I was listening to it, waiting for something to happen.
I hated RiL at first and stopped it after 3 songs but it certainly caught my attention.
Now I'm sad cause I'm in love with RiL but I can't find anything remotely close to it.
>>64555339
>yes, let's debate which of these two albums recorded over 35 years ago is better
fucking /mu/ nerds
>>64557838
>yeah let's debate over the last Kanye smoking shit being a 8 or a 9
>>64557838
Do you have any particular reason to post this ?
>>64557838
>implying the age of a music recording is relevant to its quality
>>64555339
RiL is better. Mind is the best TH song though
>>64557836
I feel this, I love RiL and there is just so little music like it. Which I guess is the genius of it.
