id like to see neil young and bob dylan
>>
God I hate baby boomers so much. Just die already, you old fried hippie fucks.
>>
>>64527823
go back to your run the jewels and kendrick
>>
This is going to show just how awful of a live perfomer Dylan is nowadays, even compared to his contemporaries.
>>
>dadchella
Idk why that made me laugh so hard
>>
You mean Grandpachella?
>>
Seems like a cool idea, to be honest. Certainly better than having them headline festivals that should be headlined by current artists.
>>
>>64528080
not unless you're underage
>>
>>64528188
I never remember that happening except the Stones at Glastonbury '13.
>>
>>64528393
The Who last year? Not to mention the rockists complaining about Kanye
>>
>>64528610
Kanye ended up being shit tho so annoyingly those cunts were right
>>
>>64527801
Bob Dylan isn't exactly the best performer anymore. His age is really getting to him and he sounds horrible. I'd only recommend it if you are a mega fan and just want to see the guy in person for once in your life. I mean, he is one of the most legendary musicians of all time.

Neil Young is actually still really good. His voice has barely deteriorated since the 70's. He would definitely be worth it as long as he doesn't do any of his weird modern protest stuff against Monsanto.

Damn its like they know their next

>His age is really getting to him and he sounds horrible
I'm pretty sure Dylan has sucked live since the 80s.
>>
>>64526817
If I was even remotely close to that, I'd go. Fuck the haters. I've seen The Who, Rollings Stones, and Paul McCartney, and they were all worth it.
>>
>>64528794
Are you like in your 50s or something? Because none of them have been worth seeing live in...yikes.
>>
I'd go if they all promised to die right after the show. It would be an honor to witness the end of an era in music.
>>
>>64528676
He's also still making relevant music instead of being completely reliant on his back catalog.
>>
>>64528820
>none of them worth seeing
>rolling stones

The only thing good about The Rolling Stones is seeing them live. Their albums get old fast. You don't even have to be a fan to enjoy their concerts. It's the entire spectacle of it.
>>
>>64528676
>Neil Young is actually still really good.
Really? You think so? I saw him a couple of years back and was sorely disappointed. He just seemed like he didn't want to be doing it anymore. It was honestly one of the most disappointing concerts I'd ever been to.
>>
>>64528820
>>64528794

I've seen the Stones and McCartney and both were good, though McCartney's voice had deteriorated a good bit between 2009 and 2013 when I saw him again.
>>
>>64529013
No shit, he doesn't have anything to whine about when there's a Democrat in the White House.
>>
>>64529068
Ditto. The Stones were great. It was exactly what I expected. Love him or hate him, Mike Jagger is a fucking machine. He has more energy and stage presence than just about anybody else going today.

McCartney I saw because it was McCartney. He does well with a massive touring band, where he doesn't have to do much.
>>
>>64528080
Easily Grandpachella. In the 90's I'd call the women fans milfs, but now those hard followers are fucking old. Ever try Dead tour?
>>
>>64529080
Go back to /pol/ faggot. And then come back in November and cry when Trump Nazi suffers a 1964-style electoral blowout.
>>
>>64528733
Comparing Dylan to Dylan he was solid up to 2000's where he decided to hide behind a barely lit keyboard and wide brimmed cowboy hat. Then he became a frontman again with guitar and the muthafucker was dancing and smiling. I don't know what to make of that guy. Seen him maybe twenty times.
>>
>>64529347
From who? An old sleazebag corrupt hack like Hellary?
>>
>implying I give a shit about Hillary
>implying she won't get indicted and they give based Bernie the nomination and then 1964 like you mentioned
>>
How long has it been since Roger Waters was relevant?
>>
>>64529269
I can't speak for all of them, but David Crosby shows are like attending a morgue. Is there anyone under 60 at those things?
>>

This is a troll, right?

Doesn't matter. There's no chance in hell that a Republican for the next 50 years wins the Northeast, West Coast, or Florida.

I don't think I'd be interested in seeing him if it was 1970.
>>
>>64528610
In that case, definitely. The Who haven't really existed since 1978 anyway.
>>
>>64527887
Kendrick is great though
>>
>>64528676
Thoroughly enjoyed Neil Young. I even enjoyed the Monsanto bit.
>>
Let's see who can make it through their setlist without breaking a hip or having a heart attack onstage.
>>
I hope to attend. If you can't in to historical artists you're a poptimist.
>>
>>64530565
he's much less important and a lot shittier than Dylan, Pink Floyd, The Who, The Beatles, Neil Young, and The Rolling Stones are though.
>>
Jeff Lynne?
>>
>>64530565
>>64531960
Yeah he sucks. Taylor Swift and Kanye are more this generation's Beatles/Stones.

The Rolling Stones>Roger Waters>The Who>Paul McCartney>Neil Young>Bob Dylan

I've seen most of them live.
There's nothing new.
a GREAT HOOKUP would be Paul + Ringo playing beatle stuff; that would make the festival different.
Apart from that, nothing new behind the curtain.
>>
>>64533734
>implying anyone but waifufags thinks TS will be relevant at all once she's 35
>>
>>64533981
this
Paul + Ringo
Roger Waters + David Gilmoure
also, Bob Dylan could make some collabs and don't be a dumbass in stage, try to care of his audience for once
I mean, it's not probable, but it would be great to see collabs between those 6 artists. See Paul with the Stones and Dylan, dunno
>>
>>64533981
Nope, just the same old songs from like 1971 that you've all heard 1,330,920 times before.

None of these "artists" have put out a worthwhile album in over 25 years.

They'll just play their most popular songs on this tour anyways

No that album is trash
>>
>>64534804
Nah. But even then, Dylan's been known for decades now to only play a handful of his most popular stuff and mostly tours off of relatively new material. And World Gone Wrong, Time Out of Mind, Love and Theft and The Bootleg Series vol 8 are all worthwhile
