Codex is so slow it doesn't have a tempo. That would be fine if listening to it more than 5 times was worth it.
Give Up The Ghost is a hippie chant that just kind of meanders around. Tom's falsetto is really pretty and the line about finally giving up the ghost is excellent but the rest of the song plods and peruses, going nowhere in particular.
Little by Little was fun, totally worth returning too.
Bloom is cool, but I wish it were crazier sometimes.
Separator's 2nd fourth feels stagnant, but once it passes the halfway point it reminds you why this song is great. The overlay of a background melody and the building of colossal chords around the soaring vocals as the tracks fades into nothingness is fantastic, but you have to wait to get there.
