They way they all talked about it was cringe but sufjan decimately deserves more respect that he gets. His music is pretty easy to like with an untrained ear but still, so many people hear that it's slightly different and don't recognize it as a star they know and just shut down. Not just with him, but with so many musicians that actually care and put effort into their music.
