they're probably the greatest of all time
not because of experimentation or anything but just because of songwriting. they write better songs than everyone else. people bitch about them only being praised for their faux-experimentalism when in reality the reason they are so vastly enjoyed and lauded is because of the ridiculous skill they have in composing songs
