Listening to music on shuffle
>>64400130
>listening to the same artist 25 songs in a row when you just want to go for a quick run
>not shuffling an artist
best of both worlds
>>64400130
>being a rockist
>shuffle is the same every time
>>64400252
What's "rockist", is it the /mu/ equivalent of "CIS-gendered"?
>>64400130
Reducing the amount of songs you have on the PC by X times, where X is the average amount of songs the albums on your list have

Still it breaks the whole mood. You could have two intro tracks in a row, then an outro track and the middle track after it.
The Wall sounds so much better on shuffle

The Wall is unique in that it's an overly long rock opera with mood changes heavily tied to the story. They might be logical from the plot perspective, but musically I never really liked them.
But in other albums shuffle can easily ruin the conventional structure of intro—development—culmination—outro.

That's why when I put all my electronic albums on a playlist, I made a second copy of the same stuff, but deleted the intros and outros of all the albums.
Now I have a playlist where I can listen to full electronic albums, and a playlist where I can shuffle without worrying about the mood break.

>25 songs
>quick run
nigga what
>>64400158
>not listening to TLOP, or hot nigga on repeat, everytime you exercise
>>64400306
Since dadrock is in decline, /mu/ needed a new anti-rock buzzword.
>>64402463
dadrock is fine, the word not the actual genre
>>64402524
>genre
>>64402285
>hot nigga
>skipping a song because you don't like it
>not listening to whole albums at a time only
I like listening to my music library on shuffle because sometimes it reminds me of songs I haven't listened to in forever and that I used to and still do love. But it really sucks at the same time. Like shuffling through the music will make me skip through 20 songs before I finally land on one I like. Then I realize I always skip over certain artists and I question if I even like them anymore. Then I contemplate removing them from the library so they don't appear but I always stop myself because when and if I'm 70 it'll be cool as hell to look back at all the shit I enjoyed at one point.
>running the playlist in a group, and skipping a track mid-song
