21P is kinda shit, imo, but I see the appeal... The Devil and God Are Raging Inside of Me is some not shit modern emo, along with American Football.
Cloud Nothings two most recent albums have pretty sad lyrics about depression/anxiety, but they're less emo, more post-hardcore/indie rock type stuff.
Opeth's Damnation is pretty sad stuff too.

Ignore everyone else, check out Evanescence-Fallen, Eminem-Recovery, Linkin Park-Hybrid Theory, and My Chemical Romance-The Black Parade. I think those albums also do a really good job summarizing what you're feeling in eighth grade.
