I've been playing guitar for 6 years, and you eventually learn how shit most black metal is, and almost every album posted in this thread, I didn't compare mgla to the albums in this thread though, since most of them aren't even riff-based, compare mgla to dissection, immortal or thy darkened shade and you'll see how shit they are, also helps if you've ever listened to any melodic death metal from the 90s, which again is better at riffs and melodies than melodic black metal is
