So, I finally decided to get into Brian Eno. His discography is fucking huge though, so I don't really know where to start.
I've listened to Music for Airports, which I really enjoyed, but I feel like there must be much more to him.
What are some albums I should know if I want to say I "know Eno"? Is there a flowchart or something?
new one comes out friday
Also like anybody who is into Eno has a different album as their favorite.

Cool, didn't know that.
For pop stuff
>Here Come the Warm Jets
>Taking Tiger Mountain
>Another Green World
>Before and After Science
>My Life in the Bush of Ghosts (kind of)
>Everything that Happens Will Happen Today (with Byrne)
>High Life
>Someday World
For ambient/Berlin School stuff
>No Pussyfooting
>Discreet Music
>Evening Star
>Cluster and Eno
>After the Heat
>All the Ambient series albums
Not sure how much this helps since it's basically "listen to everything from the beginning to the early 80s with some stuff after" but those are the best from what I've listened to.

Another Green World is the start point. Some ambient, some pop, on the crux.

I probably should've mentioned I'm really more looking for his ambient stuff. But I put on Another Green World and I think I'll like it so far.

Thanks guys!
>>64335241
>not even mentioning this under ambient
What the fuck?
>>64335415
Yeah, I haven't listened to it. I need to get back to listening to Eno's stuff because his later ambient stuff I haven't heard. I think I downloaded it when I was listening through his stuff at first though.

Thursday Afternoon is certainly worth checking out. It's a single 60 minute track that just floats along nicely. Great for studying, chilling, etc.

>>64336763
yep, another green world is the best to start, then go to the ambient stuff, especially plateaux of mirror
