did you just marathon it?
>>64305829
When I marathoned the first tree tracks I didn't think it was ever going to get good
I was right...
>>64305815
I honestly can't tell if all the shitting on RiL is b8 or not
I know people have different opinions but still
>>64305867
damn...
>>64305867
kinda did that too, then I came back to it randomly and found it pretty good.
Don't give up OP, it's a really good record.

HAYNDS

To actually continue with the thread topic
>not at least liking The Great Curve
There might literally be something wrong with a person if they can't at least tap their foot to that track.
>>64305978
I understand not liking The Great Curve because it might a bit tiring for a first time listener but Once In A Lifetime is so accessible and catchy
It's like the same song 11 times. Really not much better than mainstream dubstep/brostep this claims to be better than
>>64306050
This doesn't claim to be better than anything, it was there first that's all.
Just a reference record if you like UK bass.
>>64306079
Is it just trying to incorporate elements from other UK bass music like In Colour?
did they just put 8 random songs together for this? i never got how this was "good", just seems like random dicking around with hints of pop rock
>>64306092
In colour is not UK bass, it's dance music.
It's not "trying to incorporate elements from UK bass" it's LITERALLY UK bass.
you dont have to mention it
no thanks
>>64306156
In Colour is UK bass (I checked rateyourmusic)
So explain how it's better than In Colour then
>>64306199
When you'll really dig into a genre you'll realize RYM tags are mostly wrong. Still good for an overall view of all genres though.
In colour is dance music.
Untrue has all the elements of UK bass in one album, can't go into details because I have to go but it's mostly due to the specific broken beats.
UK bass is built all around beats.

Listen to it more, its a grower.
