What does /mu/ think of UK Grime/Drill?

I never go on /mu/ and came here only to make this thread. Get here, and it's already made.
I love the UK hiphop scene right now. Roadmen (Roadmans?) and other tryhard kids say that the the popularity it's got the last few years is a bad thing but I don't remember the last time UK lyrics were this good. It's not just cars and shanks anymore.
I think the last time a collective got me as psyched as BBK was Wu-Tang. That's saying something.
Here's some Akala because he's crazy talented;

I don't know how fast a board /mu/ is so sorry if this is bumping the thread too much, but I can't let a grime thread go unloved.

One more Akala. Not sure if it'll be 4chan's cup of tea though. I think it's pretty clever;

I came late to grime, my Dad was really into Dancehall so always listened to black music more than anything else. Stole his copy of Maths and English which is what got me into hip-hop.
Cheers for the link though, it's pretty sick. Really reminds me of the stuff that would be playing in the house when I was a nipper.
Rocks FOE is the best MC in the game.
He makes everyone else look average.

How is the first one grime? It's trap with an English accent. Or is that what grime is?
>>64280900
It's drill music basically american drill but different beats
>>64279199
First is not grime.
Second is complete shit.
Third isn't grime either.
UK Trap is fucking shit, senpai.

>Or is that what grime is?
No.
Grime is primarily instrumental, since it is dance music derived from 2-step.
The UK club scene always prominently featured MCs as hosts or just folks who chat over the tunes played at the club.

They're the worst thing about grime.
