Where do you listen to music?
I used to listen to music before I went to bed but always found myself dozing off and not paying attention to the tracks.
Do you lie in bed during the day and purely listen, or do you do it while doing something else like going for a walk?
I take a walk and like to relate what I'm seeing as I walk to the music I hear. Like make up stories for strangers I see walking that would have something to do with the song currently playing.

walking to uni, on the bus, on the tube
gets me thinking about things, but among them being "oh fuck this is such a nice song, i don't even remember downloading it!"

I usually bring with myself those albums I can give a casual listening while taking a walk, cooking or doing whatever. On the other hand, I always look for a moment of relax for those I want to pay careful attention to, because it's the first time I listen to them or because I want to explore their music deeper or because whatever reason.
I agree that listening to music while you're about to sleep usually ends up in you snoozing and not remembering a thing of what you just heard.

I want to listen to Depeche Mode with Kaworu-kun
yeah I listen to music either in my room or walking around at night
eventually i can become relaxed enough to actually sit out on the porch and listen to Jimmy Buffett hopefully
Driving, with my friends, at bars or clubs, in my bed, on a run, working out in general, or I'll just chill in the living room with a speaker going

I became an avid listened like three months ago and I can't stop. I stopped watching tv and I don't spend much time on 4chan anymore.
Here's how I did it.
-Remember the average person listens to like zero full albums a year. If you listened to half an album a day, you are still doing better than the average person
-Don't force yourself to listen. Commit to half an album a day. I swear after three days you'll feel like listening more and after a month or so you should be listening to a whole album a day for pleasure
-Listen to various genres at the same time. When I grab a new or challenging album or one that makes me sleepy I grab another and switch. This should refresh your head. Keep them thematically different. I listen to post-rock and avant grande jazz
-It isn't a race. Listening slowly won't make you sleepy that fast. Try to acknowledge what music genres are for you to listen to and which aren't.
-Buy the physical copies. When you get the albums from your own money you'll feel the need to listen them to avoid the feel of wasting your money.
-Start with albums highly discussed here so you feel motivated to discuss.

But anon I listen to an average of 10 albums per day.
It's a mixture. I'd say most days I just sit around in my room or basement and listen to music though, I'll on occasion go and do something like go for a walk or listen to music in the car. That being said, my favorite setting to listen to music at is at night in a car staring out the window or while on vacation somewhere.

I became an avid shitposter like three months ago and I can't stop. I stopped watching tv and I don't spend much time on reddit anymore.
Here's how I did it.
-Remember the average normie shitposts less than 10 times a week. If you shit post once a day, you are still doing better than the average person
-Don't force yourself to shitpost. Commit to one a day. I swear after three days you'll feel like shitposting more and after a month or so you should be shitposting 3 times a day for pleasure
-Shitpost about different topics at the same time. When I find a new or challenging topic or one that makes me sleepy I find another and switch. This should refresh your head. Keep the boards thematically different. I post on /biz/ and /lit/
-It isn't a race. Typing slowly won't make you sleepy that fast. Try to acknowledge what topics are for you and which aren't.
-Screencap your posts. When you see your (you)'s you feel like you are motivated to continue posting what you posted to get more (you)'s.
-Start with topics highly discussed here so you get more replies on average.
