Late to the party with this one by more than a month but eh.

>Robert Turman is an inspiration to us all, be it in music or life. This comp is to benefit him as he had to have heart surgery (which went well!) and will be laid up from work for quite some time. Every cent from this goes directly to him. Please share this album to help Robert get thru this tough time. Thank you, Andrew Kirschner - MBTL

Christ, thank goodness this isn't out yet. I feel like I've spent more on noise these past couple months than I have for a year.
>>
not so daily reminder to vote for the shit you listen to on rym so others can find it when looking at charts.

Currently listening: Whitehouse - Buchenwald

It's oddly beautiful. Getting past the screeching synth and Bennett's (restrained) screaming, there's some really pretty, mournful droning noise going on. It reminds me of a soundtrack to a Holocaust documentary.

It's been an overwhelming period for sure, every time I check the usual crawls or Discogs or label pages it seems like another handful of obligatory shit has come out or is about to come out.

RYM and the mindset it propagates repulse me, no can do mate.

>RYM and the mindset it propagates repulse me

Care to elaborate? I find it to be a pretty useful tool, but the ranking system does seem to kinda fucked. Though, /noise/ and rym are the only places I know of to explore more noise so I don't have any other frame of reference.

Asked in a thread a while back, will ask one more time and then never again.
Does anyone here by any chance have rips of these that they could share?

Not that anon, but I have my own problems with RYM's power structure. I used to have an account there, but got rid of it. Mods kept denying accurate edits I was making to items - items that I owned and had sitting in front of me.

I know RYM fills a different niche, but discogs is objectively a better database for music.

That's shitty. I like Discogs, but I only used it as a marketplace, not so much as a database. I'll have to explore it a bit more.

good shit my dude

Anyone else have any music they've made?
What's your gear setup like?

I have a collection of stuff I finally decided to post today.
Mostly distortion / overdrive pedals in a feedback loop with delay added, couple tracks have a drum machine.

Just wanted to share this noise blog I recently stumbled over. Lots of rare shit on there, I don't know if it's already known here but if not you should definitely check it out. Only downside: everything in Spanish

Yesterday someone posted a link to the new Jason Crumer album "Stare At The Devil", but the link didn't work and the thread died. Can anyone reupload it?

I picked it up on slsk, I can share it later.

has its moments but it's pretty basic. i think you should work more with textures so the whole thing doesn't sound that flat. keep fucking around m8
>>
>>64258111
Thanks for the input, I think the main things I want to do now is get maybe a new compression pedal and add some more low end to it.

Listening to the other bandcamps in this thread right now, but here's my tape I finished recently:

https://vorpilatus.bandcamp.com/releases

FFO dusty walls, tape sounds, drones, and other recordings

And my live setup is mostly analog, a tape player fed into reverb and delay to get some drones and loops with a feedback loop going on top of it, plus some Spiderman walkie talkies I use for vocals :^)

Got a video of my live set from the other day, too - I felt good about this one, need to get those vox more in the mix though
