This record isn't exactly anti-/mu/core but it's pretty mainstream and it's never discussed here. Honestly one of the greatest records of all time. Ben Folds is a god-tier songwriter who has serious trouble with album structure and consistency but he nailed both on Reinhold. God tier cover too. To be honest, this should be the /mu/est of /mu/core.

This album feels so lovingly produced. The opening chords on Lovers In Japan always blow me away with their lushness. The whole thing is so amazingly tight, yet broad. A wonderful record.
