is Sterling Morrison the most underrated member of a relevant member ever? no one ever talks about him, its always between Lou and Cale, even Moe has her piece of cake, but Sterling is always in the shadow. thats a shame because he's my favorite member of TVU.
what do you think about him /mu/?

Did he ever have a solo LP?
Even Moe "The Time for A New Hitler is Now" Tucker had a couple.
probably not - Sterling was trying to be cool and great all the time, but surely there is some a little bit more useful total side show duder in another band
Angus Maclise was the best member of The Velvet Underground.

OP here, sorry for the mistake
obviously Doug Yule is, he put out a whole album by himself

Morrison participated in recording this thing with John Cale while both were in the Velvets

he was always willing to experiment and all but he was just a participant while Cale and Reed were actively doing things, in many ways Moe is far greater artist worthy of respect because Sterling was kind of trying and failed to make his mark still - Moe just kept it real

he had a very unique guitar sound and a original way to play it. very "bluesy" but experimental at the same time. hes one of the most autentic guitarrist ever if not the most.
