ex-girl is probably my favorite band after melt-banana
their whole discography is incredible, shows a clear progression in sound without ever abandoning the energy and creativity that makes them so great
at its most basic they're like avant-prog meets wacky pop but they also mess around with punk, space rock/psych, noise rock, a capella weirdness, and even dance pop
plus they build this bizarre world and atmosphere that just sucks me right in

I haven't listened to the one they did with The Body properly and I was actually put off by the Merzbow one.
