I honestly think so. Bon Iver, Bon Iver is an absolutely incredible album, top ten of this decade for sure. But people or psychologically think of tumblr hipsters or "Skinny Love" when they listen to it and dismiss it.

I love this album, but I think it's a bit overproduced. Like, there are parts of some songs that would be better if he tonned down a bit on the instrumentation. That being said, every song is fantastic. My favs are probably Perth and Holocene. Also, that last track with the Pink Floydiesque soloing is amazing.

It was legitimately one of the most excruciating album experiences I've ever had. Like, I just couldn't wait for it to be over. I still don't know how I made it through it. And I like a lot of things that are popular.
