Well, honestly I don't have a concrete method, you just have a few drinks, maybe dance and a girl will check you out or just be drunk so she'll go up to any man, go out for a fag and maybe speak to a girl out there or ask to borrow her lighter, maybe you'll be sat somewhere with some friends and you end up joking around or talking to a group of girls sat near you. It could be anything, but just think that most girls are out for the same reason as you (unless you're going to some small underground club to see a DJ, but those are always sausage fests).
Protip: Don't talk to a girl like you're desperate or trying to just bed her or fall in love. Treat them like a friend instead of just a hole to put your bits in. Joke around, speak to them about normal things. This should be obvious, but don't start talking about depressing or deep shit. It's really obvious when people go out just to meet girls instead of have a good time, but the latter situation always has the best luck.
I'm not even an expert, but it just started making sense to me eventually cause I used to be lonely and useless at speaking to girls too. Obviously you need to practise this shit, but it will start working out for you eventually.
