urban =/= urbane
I know you're making a joke but urbane is like something you would call a literal nazi especially an officer

ok then slayer
Get into more bands classified as alt. metal. Besides the obvious Patton projects (Tomahawk being the most similar one), you might like some songs by Helmet, Deftones, early RHCP stuff (Mother's Milk in particular) and similar bands. FNM are kind of their own thing, not many bands sound like them. There are tons of Mr. Bungle copycats, though.
Try Wolfmother :)

Forgot to add: Corrosion of Conformity and Alice in Chains have similar atmospheres in their songs, sometimes. They're worth a listen if you're not familiar with them.
The signature FNM sound comes from the thrash-like instrumentation combined with keyboards, and there are not a lot of bands that incorporate that instrumentation in their sound.
I'm pretty sure Eagles of Death Metal are the modern day equivalent of FNM
