Why is he an asshole? I don't know, but I've met him before, and he most certainly is an asshole. And all the former members of The Dead Kennedys, and anybody who's ever had personal dealings with him will tell you the same. At least he's not Greg Ginn. (Come to think of it, the only person I know who would defend Jello Biafra to his dying breath would be Joey Shithead from D.O.A.)

It's an inside joke kind of like "Primus Sucks". At his shows people always yell "Jello Biafra is an asshole!" to let others know they're big fans.
