Is there any EDM music that is album worthy?
Sure Zedd, Major Lazer, and Jack U have good tracks, good party songs, but it's all formulaic?
Is there an edm album that breaks this convention?

This. Specifically all the genres of music that derived from Electro (and the genres derived from those same genres too). That's what I would consider to be "EDM" (not to be taken literally), and it's consistent enough, about as much if not more than rock, for example

EDM no because EDM is used for new pop bigroom garage. It's an insult at this point to say something is EDM. Anybody that actually likes music ant isn't hopping on the new trend will argue that any artist they like aren't EDM. For example some describe deadmau5 as EDM but I would disagree and say that as soon as EDM became a thing, he stopped making any "cool" style as soon as EDM became a thing.
Hasn't stopped him and literally everybody else putting drops into their music simply because they've been bombarded by it for 4 or 5 years.
