First off, listen to more Phil albums, they're all pretty amazing. You should check out Thanksgiving, he's a friend of Phil's. Check out Lee Noble and German Error Message.

nah, its just indie. classic indie album. lo-fi is more of a production term
I enjoy The Glow Pt. 2, but Mount Eerie is phenomenal and even better.

First off, glow pt 2 is easily the best microphones / m eerie album. i dont get this snobbiness about glow pt 2 being plebian or w.e. Nothing phil has produced is as melodic, warm, and well written all at once. also fuck pavement for life
yip/jump music
hi how are you

nobody really calls is plebian and the few ppl who do are just contratian idiots who think they are special snowflakes for liking his less accecible/less entry level stuff more

Blur- 13
Trust me, its good.

Nah, Mount Eerie is a better album even though The Glow Pt. 2 is great. It's more ambitious, less padded out, and more interesting musically.

Don't take anyone who uses terms like plebian or patrician seriously. I was only trying to say that people should really listen to more Phil albums other than The Glow Pt. 2, his other stuff is great.
for everyone who likes the phil, check this out. Used to be free when I got it.. but you can still listen to it, bandcamp is the mvp we need
