ITT: Criminally underrated album
I was 14 and bought the album. It was the first Metallica album I bought, and I really liked it. I played it everytime I went to school and when I went home. And when I went online everybody just hated it, felt sad at the time. But it's a nostalgic album for me, and one of the first albums I bought.

I had the same with the X factor of Iron Maiden.
One of the first albums I bought, thought it sounded very good.
MY LIFE STYLE

DETERMINES MY DEATH STYLE
KEEEEEEP SEARCHIIIING
>>64094939
When people get over themselves and the members of metallica are all dead, then, and only then will this album get the recognition it deserves.

Invisible Kid = 10/10 badass rock song!

post-1990 Metallica > pre-1990 Metallica
Except for the black album. The black album is shit.

It took me a while to fully understand the symbolic meaning to the name "Load" and that album cover... just wow
>>64095699
What
Everyone sucked this albums dick when it came out
If you werent a bandwagoner youd know that
>>64095781
after falling in love with it at 11 or 12, I still maintain that The Outlaw Torn is a great song.

Really? When it came out I remember people hating it. It also has a 2.99 on RYM.
>>64095902
So? If you made an album and it got 2.99 on RYM i
m sure you'd be over the moon. Funny how that works eh?
>>64094939
Kill'em all>Lulu>Load>RtL>St. Anger>MoP>Reload
everything else is irrelevant
>>64095902
By RYM standards 2.99 means ok.
>>64095781
I generally prefer Metallica's Thrash era, but I will say I actually like some songs in Load.
>>64094939
>no solos: the album
it was bad anon
>>64096717
Eh, the lack of solos arent really the albums problem. The snareless drums, and overall writing and mixing of the album are.
>>64096717
>no solos = shit
Considering Kirk is such a bad soloist, I don't see why you would miss them.
ill fight anyone
>>64096846
This is my second favourite Chili Peppers album, actually.
>>64095673
Correct.
>>64094939
>>64095699
No.
>>64096846
Didn't know this album got shit, it's bretty gud
>>64095781
This is actually bretty gud
>>64096846
The title track is one of their best songs for sure. I dig Transcending too. Kiedis is definitely way better on this album than BSSM.
>>64095969
But anon isn't an established musical group with albums like MPP under their belt. See how that works?

I AM THE TABLE

Define 'established'. Maybe he would be 'established' if you bothered to offer him some support instead of trating his music like the welfare office whitebou.
The only others I listened to Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie.
I really didn't find this that bad, but the hate against this album seemed really unwarranted at the time. Simply because Billy has always been an obnoxious and whiny cunt since the beginning
I WAS TUUUUUUURNING
