ah well I was close. what do you study? I do bachelor arts memery, history, russian, international relations and modernist literature. I have only listened to orient, eternal rhythm and mu, first and second part. probably enjoyed them all about equally for different reasons, but can see myself coming back to eternal rhythm and mu the most at the moment. which are your favourites? any jazz recs would be great. my taste in jazz is basically limited to the top 20 of scaruffi's best of jazz list.

I can't speak for whatever performance you saw but I think her live stuff is usually more in the vein of the album ghil, if you want to hear something a little less composed and way more raw

i saw her twice, once with rashad becker and once with ellen fullman and her "long string instrument"
her gig with rashad was cool, noisy and loud as hell but it was an experience for sure
the one with ellen fullman was absolutely fantastic, one of the most unique things i've seen, can't explain it. there's probably some videos of it but idk how well the sound would survive a recording
idk how much i really care about her music, or how much i don't care, i've just not really gotten into it.
