Gotta put enough cash together for primavera someday, their lineups are always amazing
I've never been to a proper festival (just days of smaller ones), but I'm not convinced they'd be worth it.
I would have paid a lot to see Radiohead and Animal Collective like 10 years ago, but besides Brian Wilson there's no one there that I'd really go out of my way to see.
But for £300 plus the £100-200 I'd spend just getting to Barcelona I could see every good act at the festival and I wouldn't have to camp or be molested by thousands of drunk teenagers.
I don't get the appeal. Why do you guys dig them?

I never found campout style festivals terribly appealing. Inner city SWXW style festivals are great though, binge out on music and you still get to sleep in a decent bed at the end of it

Over the last few years I've seen about 10 of those bands at my local pub for £10 each with plenty of cash leftover for drugs.
Most of them came to the bar and had a drink with everyone after as well.
Plus you'll miss out on some of the bands you'd like to see or just get so fatigued you won't enjoy them. Do you guys just want to throw money away?
