>>63953170
No, but that's a really solid rec
I've wanted to get into Oxley since hearing him on Ode
and I really should listen to more of Cecil Taylor's live albums
Do you like Ode?
Kinda crazy that Derek Bailey plays on it
btw, whats your favorite Derek Bailey album?

i love you too my man
you rec me all sorts of cool ass shit all the time which i unfortunately haven't got around to listen to the full albums yet
i will one day though, don't worry
>>63953419
o whoops
tony conrad is the good sounds
i was the guy that had only heard him on the gastr del sol
i do hope it changes up a bit because i'm 20 minutes into the same simple drum beat and tony's violin
i like tony's violin a lot though
>>63953444
It's cool
how can you feel sad with those trips though
>>63953506
Oh, glad you're enjoying it
Well it's slowing shifting and changing but maybe it's hard to notice
but if you'd skip the video around you'd notice extreme changes
The first 15 or so minutes not too much happens, but it's supposed to be like that, makes it hypnotic and meditative. Focus on the tonality of the violin and how it drifts subtly over and under the drumming
>>63953680
>tfw didnt notice those sick digits until you pointed them out
my life is complete now

I don't really like Joy Division all that much although I do think Closer is a great record
Honestly that was just me giving them a relisten out of request from an anon
>>63953680
i'm kinda distracted atm but i really enjoy it, thx again
i'll give it a real listen some other time, i really would have to go to the library or something if i wanted to focus solely on the music
>>63953907
heyo
what'd u think of Trick
>>63953947
have yet given closer a listen, but disorder is a great track, i had it on a playlist that i played frequently at work and it got some compliments
>>63953968
i'm a big fan of it, change, people and animals are my favs so far. planning to check out something else by alex g soon
>>63954109
Listen to Closer man, I used to hate JD alot (the archives are full of shitposting and derailed threads thanks to me) but Closer changed my mind completely
It's a lightyear ahead of UP
>>63954109
ooh yes those are good tracks
i think i listened to one of his older albums once but i mostly just listen to Trick. i should try out some of his newer stuff some time
>>63954198
will do
>>63954257
are the bonus tracks from trick worthwhile?
fuck isis
>>63954322
yES very much so, they're right on par with the rest of the album imo
sometimes i listen to 16 mirrors and then i listen to it like 3 more times in a row because it's just too short
>>63954375
yea true
>>63954375
they're a pretty good band though
>>63954198
do you like Third Ear Band
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9WhjadcAlQ
I think this album is the bees knees
especially after re listening to it
>>63954375
ye
>>63954631
If I'm not wrong I downloaded that album because it was on a proge chart
Bleh album art aside this is really cool stuff, very organic and natural sounding
I dig it
>>63954706
Oh I quite like the artwork
you should re listen to it
Kinda blown me away after coming back to it
>>63954780
I find the colors contrast really badly
The purple clouds are kinda cool but the font and text looks pretty band
And yeah I need to listen to it in full
>>63954897
I triple dare you to listen to it
N O W
>>63954966
: o
It's 1am though so I'll listen to it first thing tomorrow morning because I really like those weird bagpipe-esque sounds
Really cool stuff
It's not complete but that's cause topsters fucked up, the other too are waylon - lonesome onry and mean and isbell's newest album.
any recs in this genre? I'm really loving what I'm listening to right now
