Is This It
Either this or Kid A
Both mid teens, discovering music which shifted my taste from classic rock to having a very catholic and broad taste
Still listen to it sometimes, good record.
This really

I'm turning 21 in June. Gotta love being treated like a second-hand citizen by everyone everywhere until you're arbitrarily "mature enough".
Anyway, such great music, such great angst, such great feels. I really identified with Kele. Got really fucking depressed when I had the opportunity to see them live twice and my dad said no both times for no reason. I still kinda hate him for it.

DISRESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS
>>63898607
this so much my biggest regret is not seeing my favourite band when they came nearby
>i will never watch the original line-up live
;_;
Still pretty good.
We all know its awesome.
>>63898296
wow you're turning 20? good for you mate, just listen to whatever you listen to now, since its pretty much the same garbage you liked in high school
>>63899588
listening to this right now because of this thread, brings back memories
>>63899811
wow who knew that you know OPs music taste better than him? you must be so cool and smart haha
>>63898296
And i still like it today

Probably are we the waiting, but to this day nothing gets me pumped up like jesus of suburbia, you?
FWN was also my fav album when I was a teenager, it's kinda sad what happened to AM, now they're just a bunch of assholes.
Also I loved Sebadoh very much, and I still do, Sebadoh III has to be one of the best albums on history.
If I ever had a favorite band it was them in my teenage years
Make believe made me doubt then but it wasn't truly dead until raditude

I haven't listened to it myself but I've heard that the new album is a lot better than the previous few, maybe you should check it out
Dookie
that album is eternal, don't let anybody fool you

Physically cringed

Their last two were definitely a marked improvement, but they still seem to be struggling to be blue album era at times
The only album I haven't bothered listening to was Hurley, but from what I've heard there isn't too much there to miss
>>63901050
Why? I went back and listened to it not too long ago and it still seemed pretty decent
And if you're going to cite lyrics being edgy just remember that he was writing a concept album about a suicidal drug addict as a suicidal drug addict
this
Saw them last summer, for the first time, I haven't experienced such memory-bomb before.

Been listening to this album ALL WEEK. Started learning the songs on Bass and I am hooked, Still need to listen to their other albums.
>>63902076
Yeah, those bass lines are fun things, Carlos was one of the most creative bassists IMO, too bad he quit playing.
About Interpol's discography, prepare to be disappointed. Their other albums are pretty fun too, but not as good as their first.

>>63902288
Yeah, their first is their true magnum-opus, however Antics is also quite good and I found El Pintor to be a good comeback record for them too.
Also saw them on their tour last summer. Blew my mind how electrifying it was...
