>>
I have no problem rating Korn's s/t a 7/10.

Put aside the fact that it did accidentally start nu metal.
>>
>>63885706

here's a painting by picasso early in his life. point is, you gotta know the rules before you break them.

I have no idea what you're getting at

Reminder that this composer was a master of music theory:

Name one respected composer that had no knowledge of music theory

Protip: you can't
>>
>>63886349
He's a fucking idiot teenager who probably doesn't even play music.
>>
>>63886349
it's kinda hard to have NO knowledge of music theory when you're a composer, but i guess this guy would count - Blind Tom Wiggins.

They broke up in the 90s but reunited last year. New EP coming soon.

>Lush are back, reuniting for their first shows in 20 years. They've also announced their first new recordings since the release of 1996's "500 (Shake Baby Shake)" single. The Blind Spot EP, recorded last summer with Jim Abbiss and Ladytron's Daniel Hunt, is out April 22 on the band's own Edamame label. It features four all new songs.

I want a Ciat-Lonbarde synth so bad. I'm a fan of The Gongs as well

I have no idea what key that even is. Something in A?
>>
>>63885602
Not at all.

After learning music theory, my compositions got more creative.
>>
>>63885697
Look at the key signature.

If you don't have sheet music in front of you, you're going to have to have good aural skills to be able to correctly guess.

>>63885836
Maybe learn about tone clusters and how to effectively use them without over-doing it?
>>
>>63885697
Learn the keys of songs you hear, seriously you start to pick up on it.
Keys like D and G Major are the easiest to pick up on, and eventually you can pick out entire chord progressions quickly.
>>
>>63885602
That theory sucks dick and you're retarded.
