No they're Junk. People have disliked M83 since the beginning, they are an unfashionable auteurist band that makes quality songs for the alienated. My favorite review site Tiny Mix Tapes trashed Saturdays = Youth, but it's okay people have different opinions.

Walkway Blues is making me want a Neon Indian collaboration. A good piece of campy gold that has a good murkiness to it that a band like Passion Pit could whose recordings are far too clean could learn from.

Wow I'm finally enjoying a Beck song!
All the Mai Lan features are all just golden, she really needs to become a mainstay.
When it's all said and done the only truly dreadful song upon first listen is the last track but overall I think it's a hit.

To clarify I love Beck but absolutely HATED Morning Phase and the fact that he just threw out amazing off-kilter psych pop material out before the release of that album and then just disappeared. Morning Phase is just the antithesis of anything I want from Beck and it seemed like a shrewd business move to release a milquetoast Starbucks folk album than risk another The Information.
