what do you mean, like psychedelic country music? his first album is very straight forward outlaw country record
90s alt country/no depression stuff is great too, uncle tupelo (basically wilco plus jay farrar), son volt (jay farrars solo band), jayhawks , old 97s all have some great stuff. i think people tend to be turned off by the name, but its not what you would expect
Still the best Alt. Country album released this year. Dolly Parton has a new acousticy set for release this year that could take the crown tho.
