On a scale from 1-Boston how dadrock is Bruce Springsteen?
Bit more dad than Nirvana.
Tom Scholz is one of the most underrated musicians of that era. Boston, especially live, have a lot of cool proggy moments in their songs it's not all just catchy choruses and anthems

ok let me rephrase it, 1-AC/DC
King of Dadrock
next in line would be Dire Straits
One of the most butt rock musical acts of all time. A white suburbians wet dream
On a scale of 1-4 I'd give him ONE! TWO! THREE! FOOOOOUUUR!!!
Bruce Springsteen is pretty dad rock, but some dads are cool.

Nah. Fuck that guy. You had it right the 1st time.
I always though of the Smiths as dadrock cos my dad was obsessed with them.
Nebraska is legitimately amazing. Very different from most of his stuff, more quiet/acoustic. Definitely worth a listen

definitely dadrock, but not bad dadrock a la coldplay, muse etc
Bruce is dad-tier but he's GOAT dad-tier like Neil Young, the Kinks, Black Sabbath, CCR, etc.

you misspelled "Billy Joel"
I love the Wall of Sound production on Born to Run. Any other pop albums with the Spector Sound, aside from the obvious ones like Pet Sounds and shit?
I thought he was some cheesy proto-buttrock act until scaruffi got me listening to him. Now I love Darkness, River and Nebraska
