This'll sound like someone backtracking, but if you go read the threads of when PW came out you'll see a decent number of people that didn't like it straight out. Obviously for the most part they were being drowned out by the giddy fans that really wanted everyone to know how AnCo were back after CHz. Now that the dust has settled is a meme, but you genuinely do have to wait until it has. You are right though, this board is so fair-weather and treat reviews like gospel.
FWIW I liked parts of PW (Floridada, Golden Gal, On Dealy, Bagels), the rest I don't even listen to anymore.
