Out to Lunch is making more sense for me every time I listen. Maybe I'm just a sucker for vibes, maybe Dolphy's playing is starting to stick for me, whatever it is it's slowly becoming a jazz favorite for me. This is someone who used to only really love Miles and Sun Ra.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh

have you listened to pelt
>>
>>63832662
Yeah, I find Fissures is interesting. There's a good meld between arctic ambient and new age textures. Even if you don't find it appealing, it's a decent listen considering the depth it has. And if you're looking for something else there's also Somnium by Robert Rich. It's a 7 hour long composition divided into 3 parts but still a strong listen if you can find the time.

I have listened to Autechre, not really a fan to be entirely honest. Their works are too disjunct for my liking I find. I did like Quique though. Haven't heard of Acronym before but I'll definitely give that a listen, many thanks.

>>63832837
Yeah, I've explored quite a bit of Vladislav Delay but really haven't gone too much in depth into Pan Sonic or Mika Vainio's discography. Anything you personally think I should take a look at? Thanks for the recs by the way.

I've heard Somnium twice actually. Once awake, once asleep. Pretty cool stuff. I do like what Robert Rich did with Steve Roach in terms of new age and tribal themes, so Fissures should be cool. I do feel you on Autechre, I kinda like that about them though, you never really know what's going to happen. Glad you liked Seefeel, definitely listen to their newer stuff as well. Acronym is pretty damn good ambient techno with subtle new age leanings.

I would recommend Mika Vainio's Kajo and Pan Sonic's Vakio, although Vainio's work with Franck Vigroux from last year ("Peau Froide, Léger Soleil") is pretty good as well.

>>63833606
