/mu/'s thoughts on this guy?
Personally I never paid him any attention, even in the earlier 2000s, but I discovered his discography a month ago, he's quickly becoming one of my favourites.

He's okay but his entire shtick is that he just plays 3-4 samples on each track and just plays some derivative punkish noise-rock.
Odelay and Mellow Gold are both good albums though.

Though I don't really like the direction that the single Dreams makes it seem like he's going in with the next album

He was born into it. He's a celebrity so you kinda assume he got sucked into it as an adult like other celebrity scientologists, but he was actually born into it.
