I agree. I mean he always was very good but he's mostly dropped pure gold in the last years. He especially improved as a producer; his beats are the best thing in hip-hop right now, imo.

I just replied to your post but somehow my post seems to have disappeared. I was basically agreeing with Aesop being better then ever before. Almost everything he has done since around None Shall Past is fucking gold. And he has become a great producer.

I was a huge aesop rock fan back like 07-09 ish but It's gotten a lot harder for me to listen to his newer stuff. Just too quaint, indie rock,cutesy, introspective in a way I don't really want to see.

He uses big words but i feel like he's trying to hard to sound either lyrical or intelligent; his use of vocabulary is exquisite but the message still feels very literal and if it comes off as metaphorical is feels incomplete. He's definitely got talent but i find him very annoying to listen to
