I have listened to more jazz than I have previously, but less albums. I used to absorb jazz albums like I did with pop, once as background noise, jumping straight onto a new album when I was done with the one I was listening to. This is obviously the wrong way to listen to jazz as >>63802011 said (bad practice for any music, but more so for jazz than pop I feel). Now I try to pay more attention, listen to it more actively and listen to albums multiple times.
