its weird, I really like stoner metal, but can never give a shit about stoner rock. it all just seems so samey and not as good of a listen as stoner metal. that being said, I finally listened to the first Heavy Rocks and it's the first stoner rock album I can say I actually like on the same level as stoner metal stuff

Holy shit, a stoner thread. For me it's always been The S Word, but Truckfighters put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. Orange Goblin, Fu Manchu, and WoFat are all up there too.
