Specifically not blues rock but whatever, odds are if you like blues rock you like country rock.
Truckers, Kickers, Cowboy Angels: The Blissed Out Birth of Country Rock vol 1-8 is recommended for all fans of roots related rock. It covers a lot of ground.

Thanks man. Is country rock similar to Skynyrd? I haven't listened to much of it before.

That sounds awesome. I'll check it out. Here, have some:

Yeah and no. It covers a huge ground. Some of the tracks in the volumes are really just rock acts doing country songs (like Dylan's Nashville Skyline is pure country imo but they include music from that album) whereas other artists are country acts who took their cues from rock at the time, like Waylon and Willie.
And then Neil Young is like the god of country rock but because of legal stuff they couldn't get anything by him so he's not included at all.

OP it might be better if you make this roots rock general, would get more people from the country/heartland/blues/etc sides.

Honestly man I'm not focused on southern styles. I appreciate your input, but I made this thread specifically for hard rock and blues rock.
>>63759504
This music is awesome btw
>>63759533
Blues rock (a huge amount of it) is specifically a southern style. I get what you're saying though and don't want to be a nag. Maybe hard rock would be the better general tag.
>>63759574
Hard rock would be a better label, but I've tried that 3 or 4 times and have been denied posts every time .

This board just sucks in general.

Yeah I would be on reddit if it weren't for the circlejerk inducing points system. I'm doing what I can to try and pry the adults on /mu/ out of the woodwork.
