I've built up a pretty decent CD collection over the last two years because people are offloading them now that they're getting totally obsolete. I like it more for listening in the car than my iPod because it forces me to stick with albums for longer and less selection means I'm more likely to listen to new stuff I might not have heard otherwise. It's crazy the stuff you can find at thrift stores and library sales for a dollar or two apiece. The last big score I had I got like 5 Sebadoh albums and 4 Dinosaur Jr albums for 2 bucks apiece.

And, for the record, I do collect records and to a lesser extent tapes as well.
