Kinda like weed tea.
You grind it up and put it in a pot, let it simmer don't put it on high or anything just low heat, let it sit for around 20-45 minutes. strain the weed out with a strainer as you pour it into something diffrent.
You can drink it hot or put it in the fridge, it makes a mean milkshake.

Trying to extract THC into just hot water is a fool's errand. You need fat or alcohol. I recommend about a joints worth of weed, ground, simmered in 1 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of butter. Then mix in a hot chocolate or chai tea packet and get ready to blast off. I do this every Friday night.
An alternative is to get some hot buttered rum mix and keep it in the freezer. Add two tablespoons (it's mainly butter and sugar with some spices) to about 10 oz of water and your weed and simmer for 15 minutes.
In my pic I was using a little more weed because it was sugar leaf and not bud.

There's no way to fuck up if you keep it on a low simmer and stir it. And if you have good weed, you'd only need about half a gram, which isn't a big investment. I don't bother straining either since it's ground so finely, so I'm ingesting everything and losing nothing. With the sugar leaf batches I put on a glove and squeeze it through a coffee filter. And that stuff is $20 an ounce, so really it's only a 35¢ investment.
