Get a Fiio man, the X1 is hands down the buy 100$ I spent in the past 5 years — plug a 200Gb SD and you're good to go.
The UX is needs some polishing (you can mitigate this by naming your files accordingly) but otherwise it's just perfect

I fucking hate scrolling through my artists list. Its takes god damn forever to reach something in the middle.
>>63687025
yeah I know that feeling man, you just need to be a bit systematic and order your files, for instance I group artists by letter, so there's only 26 letters to scroll in the "browse files" menu, and so on.
Some software do it automatically based on filenames, easy as pie, voilà !
Sandisk Sport just arrived today.
8gb on its own, got a 32gb SD Card coming too. Should've gotten a 100gb in hindsight hah
Nifty little thing.
Fuck iPods and fuck iTunes.

If you had the Sony, you could navigate by folder, or artist, or album, etc.. and it's all easily set up by drag and drop. Navigating by folder is the best.
Ruizu X02 flashed with AGPtek A02 1.7.2 beta firmware playing FLAC into my STAX SRM-001.
Bitches it is the most incredible "sleeper" setup you've ever heard of.
>>63687446
you can do this with the x1 too
>>63687549
Yes but that's flimsy hardware, you know that junky piece of shit will fall apart in a few months. The walkman is solid.

my x1 is a year old and shows no signs of wear
i still don't get your point
My 32gb one m9 with a 128gb microsd card
I've had an iPod classic for about three years (bought it on Amazon used for a few bucks). The headphone jack stopped working and now it is a giant brick I can't use because no place can fix it for me and I'm too dumb to do it myself.
But it's worth it to invest in it. Solid as a rock and it's cool to pull out in front of people because they get all misty-eyed.
my iphone
My Xperia. 814 song, still adding more.
The only downside is that when I turn it off, informations from some songs disappear. And I like to have everything organized.
