I think this is decent. My main issue with it is I find the synths are mixed a little too loudly for my taste.
>>63680556
This is really well done. I really like your implementation of reverb in your work. I feel like often when there is this much it can feel too dense but for me you're using it in a really constructive way that adds to the music.

this isn't similar, this is a blatant copy but without the edginess or energy that made Odd Future interesting. The production is ALRIGHT but is EQ'd pretty badly so everything sounds thin. The vocals are EH but are way too laxed for the style you're going for. Sounds like a mixture of Tyler and Earl but you have a laid back delivery. I would recommend slower tempo and more spacious production to match this.

Checking out the snubs:
>>63680419
Beating The Devil has a very nice beat. Love how saturated, yet crisp everything sounds. The main synth is a bit too loud, which buries the awesome beat. However, I really like the panning and the choppiness in the middle section.
>>63680556
I like the idea of using Bandcamp artists as your samples. It makes them almost impossible to identify, which honestly is my favorite part of sampling. The execution is pretty good. I like how reverberating everything is. It's so think and varied. Great job.
>>63680876
this is gorgeous. love your voice. that first track is so understated, in the best possible way. i love the lo fi production, and the sweet lightly arpeggiated guitars are so lovely.
>>63682327
I didn't realize what sort of work this was going to be. I'm honestly not a fan of the guitar tone. I feel like it's too muffled, or not well equalized on the first track. They sound a lot better on the second track though. This could be an interesting listen. I'll bookmark the link and give it a good listen later.

Downloaded this the other day. It's like a modern Trout Mask Replica, but more finely tuned and easily more digestable. A casual listener might not notice the subtle rhythm and hidden melodies in these tracks, but they're there, and they all play pretty well. Thank god I'm on weed-oil right now; gonna listen to this again!
>>63682338
I really don't like the album artwork. Listened to this a few days ago but didn't care to review it. I know you would like to think your music sounds like "Giles Corey,HANL,Teen Suicide,The Microphones" as you wrote; but it doesn't sound anything like them. You are aiming to be someone else, other than finding your own route.
The sad young white kid playing sad music is getting pretty tiresome when you're not bringing anything new to the table.
>>63680556
My old band had a song called "Pighead" and was about the time we bought half of a severed pig's head from the asian grocery store, and ate it's brain/eyes and then left it on a Seattle street corner to rot and scare the yuppies down below our apartment. (Lame, I know, we were young).
Anyways, this album sounds gnarly. Fluid and ever-moving, the sounds all move with each other in a constant forward motion, leading the song through many emotions and feelings brought to mind.
Ed's Nightmare is a great song! Expect a download once I get to a better internet connection.

Recorded mostly throughout 2014 and 2015, this is a compilation of demos of songs which will eventually end up on my second record "Homoti" later this year in much better, complete finished form.
Partly recorded on various cassette tapes (pre-recorded and blank) on a boombox in various shitty group homes in Ontario, and partly recorded at home on a laptop and cassette recorders, this is just a very long foray into my creative mind and how I love hearing and creating music. Almost cluttered but still cohesive and listenable at over 90 minutes, here is Homoti Demos 1991.
